Art classes are available by two methods:

1. Exclusive Art Classes
   For guests of Freestyle Escape (Escape House or Arthouse)
   Private tuition from an experienced art tutor may be booked for your stay at the Escape.
   3 hour class (includes tuition and materials)
   $300 – 1 x person
   $350 – per couple
   $500 – group of 4
   
   
   Small Group Art Classes

1. Art classes may be booked for a whole group or to be part of an existing booking.
   The minimum class size is 10 participants.

Our Art Tutors are available for Private Classes or Group Tuition

Sussanne Morton - Painting	Terry Bouton – Painting & Charcoal	Kate French – Sculpture & Painting
Sussanne Morton Ehlers is a Melbourne based artist specialising in oils. Her current paintings, larger than life Floral portraits, are inspired by the delicacy, colours and beauty of flowers that thrive in a cooler climate.Suzanne can be booked for private classes for guests staying in our accommodation. Alternatively private group bookings are also possible.	Terry is experienced in both Painting and Charcoals and has a real knack in helping you find that inspiration from within.  She has a keen interest in the human body and this often comes through in her artwork with Portraiture as shown in our Channel 9 Getaway segment!	Kate is known for her quirky realistic clay ceramic sculptures and her widely famed teaching focuses on figurative and portrait sculpture.  Join her for a 1 day workshop focussing on ears, eyes, mouth and expression whilst you create your own Clay Mask.2 and 3 Day courses are also available for larger portrait based Bust classes

Spontaneous Freestyle Painting – drawing from the heart In this Freestyle workshop, the focus is on spontaneity, personal exploration and freedom, and not the finished product.Just as children play. It requires a willingness to relax without outside pressures, expectation or judgment… painting for the simple joy of doing.Kym Barrett is an award-winning artist who has been teaching for over 30 years .Her process is an organic one – of discovery, frequently beginning with spontaneous,intuitive mark-making, collage and colour, allowing the piece to evolve with the freedom to see what might emerge.Kym will demonstrate the use of charcoal and acrylics on paper, and also encourage each person to be open to the endless possibilities of personal expression.	Lizzie our Artist in Residence is available for our corporate groups or groups of special friends.  She is able to teach oil, acrylics, mixed media drawing , colour theory, abstract, traditional, seascapes, landscapes and figurative.	Julie Hanrahan lives in the Sunshine Coast hinterland in the picturesque town of Maleny and is inspired by the natural environment around her. She creates intricate lino cuts of native Australian flowers and trees which are then hand printed and hand painted with vibrant watercolours.Join Julie in a workshop to explore the wonderful process of printmaking. Learn how to carve, print and colour an image in lino in just one day. Lino printing is a fun, easily accessible process that requires very few materials with impressive results.
Di Cannon - Sculpture
Sculptress Di Cannon is great at helping you find the inner child and create your own Masterpiece in a fun easy going class. Her half day class or full day classes could be built into a team building or a day with special friends (ie Hens Party, Bridal Shower, etc).
