Located on the corner of Toorak Road and a couple of blocks from Chapel Street (which is one of Melbourne’s prime shopping areas) and only 2 km’s away from the city itself.

Set in 400 acres of bush and farmland on the edge of the Outback, North Bundaleer is a ‘bizarre, obstinately luxurious triumph of pioneering can-do’.

Just over 2 hours from Adelaide, 30 minutes from the Clare Valley wine country, with views of unforgiving country from the verandas, ‘the sense of folly is intense – and completely exhilarating. Fabulous food, exceptionally friendly hosts – it’s a house party and Peter Carey novel all rolled into one.’

Entertaining is not just about the taste of the food it’s about the presentation and Martin was very forthcoming in showing us how easy it is to plate up great looking food

Naturally after all that hard work we all ‘deserved’ to enjoy the beautiful food.  It was a warm day too so we ‘had’ to try a glass of vino as well.
